RVN Jane Davidson has been nominated in two categories of the UK Blog Awards 2019.
The avid writer, who produces up to eight blogs per month for a variety of publications and websites – including vettimes.co.uk – has been shortlisted in the Nature and Wildlife, and Wellbeing categories of the accolades.
Popular
Miss Davidson (pictured), who coined #PlanetRVN – which is now popular on Twitter – said: “When I was first asked to blog more than six years ago, I had no idea how popular the blogs would become or how much joy I would get from sharing our stories and supporting vet nurses, the veterinary industry and pet owners.”
It has been a busy time for the RVN, who has also recently completed her first book, Research and Study Skills for Veterinary Nurses.
Available to buy from 5M Publishing in March 2019, the book is aimed at student and qualified nurses who wish to improve their academic skills.
Understanding
Miss Davidson said: “The book focuses on understanding how to use different ways to become better with the many assessment types used in vet nursing courses and how to keep those skills once you qualify.”
Voting for the UK Blog Awards will remain open until 21 December. You can vote for Miss Davidson online and for more information, visit the UK Blog Awards website.
