IVC acquires Scarsdale Vets

Scarsdale Vets (Derby) including Pride Referrals has become the latest group to join Independent Vetcare (IVC).

Scarsdale consists of Pride Referral Hospital, a farm and equine practice, and 10 further veterinary practices in and around Derbyshire and Staffordshire.

The announcement means IVC now has more than 900 veterinary sites.

Network

IVC UK chief executive Paul Cowling said: “We’re delighted that Scarsdale has chosen to join us on our journey to develop a fantastic network of clinics and hospitals across the country, united in our common desire to deliver first-class veterinary care, both to first opinion and referral clients.”

IVC’s commercial director Stuart Caton said: “Scarsdale group has an unrivalled reputation in the profession and the team provides such a high standard of care; Pride Referrals will be a vibrant part in our referral network, and there is so much we can learn from its first opinion sites, as well as its farm and equine clinic.”
