Nominations are open for the Veterinary Marketing Association (VMA) PR Award 2019.

The accolade affords practices, PR agencies and marketers the chance to showcase their creative campaigns from the past 12 months.

Sponsored by Veterinary Times and VN Times, the award aims to recognise the company or veterinary practice that has delivered the most innovative PR initiative or programme between 1 January to 31 December 2018.

This can be a single ”one-off” published piece or a sustained campaign to support a product/initiative in the veterinary/animal health industry.

Unique platform

VMA Awards chairman Claire Edmunds said: “The VMA Annual Awards is the premier marketing event of the year, and provides a unique platform to showcase and reward the industry’s skill, creativity and professionalism in marketing its products and services.

“Whether you work in practice or industry, this is an event not to be missed.”

The VMA awards ceremony, at which the PR winner will be announced, will take place at the Royal Lancaster London hotel in March 2019.

Creative

Veterinary Times editor Paul Imrie, who is also a member of the PR Award panel, said the award will be judged on innovation and creative communication.

He said: “A successful PR campaign should not only be highly effective, but also demonstrate creativity and originality: great ideas, well executed to the right target audience, via optimal media.”

Entries close on 31 December.
